A good reason to choose for the Pannenhuis is because it's own convenient free private guest parking, avoiding parking problems while visiting Bruges !
Attention: as of 15 October 2008, on-street parking in the city centre is limited to 2 hours for metered parking, and to 4 hours for free parking spaces ("blue zone" parking: a parking disc is required).
Arriving by car, you will be able to use one of the five underground parkings in the inner city or one of the parking lots alongside the ring road from where you will quickly reach downtown, walking or using one of the frequently operated bus lines. We would like to advise tourists to use the parking Station (1500 places) + free bus ride to the centre, the parking Centrum (1435 places) our the hotel bus 5 or 15.
Disabled persons are allowed to park for free with an official card on parking places that are normally not free. This does not count for the underground parkings. There are also special parking places, only for disabled. A list where these are to be found is available in the tourist office. The use of the official card is however still required. The international accepted pictogram is used to mark these parking places.
The entire inner city is considered " blue zone ". During the day you are allowed to park up to 4 hours with “blue zone card”.
There are very few “paid parking” areas. You can park there during 2 hours (buy a ticket at the ticketing machine and put it visible on your dashboard).
For “long term parking” park in one of the parkings around the city. Next to the railway station is also a big parking from which you have a frequent and easy bus connexion to the inner city our the hotel (bus 5 or 15).
